Alternative Audio Text To Speech/PIN/PRO/2023

The Open University ("OU") is informing the market of the intention to tender for the provision text-to-speech course materials .

This Prior Information Notice ("PIN") is intended to gauge the interest of potential suppliers and request information from the market prior to commencing a procurement process.

The OU is looking to review the way it delivers text-to-speech materials to our students.

We are keen to understand the products that exist in this text-to-speech market to ensure we can provide our students with the best service possible.

By doing this we aim to continue into a tender process to embed a new delivery model that also meets our students needs and also the technical and operational objectives.

Potential suppliers are requested to respond to this PIN via The Open University's e-tendering website, In-Tend https://in-tendhost.co.uk/openuniversity Potential suppliers should complete and return a Request for Information Response Document by 15th August 2023.

This is a Prior Information Notice; this is not a call for competition.

Any description of requirements is yet to be fully determined for the supply and services described.

Any potential resulting tender will be advertised via the OU's tender portal: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/openuniversity and will require further registration.

Registration is free and interested parties can register at any time and search for tenders (and PINs) as and when they are advertised.
