The Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement Training (WAVE) was a Metropolitan Police initiative rolled out in 2017 and built upon the Ask For Angela initiative created in 2016.
WAVE was different in that its purpose was to raise awareness amongst staff working in pubs, clubs and other licensed premises about the potential vulnerability of their customers.
