The brief

Mental Health Step Down Supported Living Service (adults) Flexible Care People with lived experience have indicated that a flexible care approach would work best for this model of supported accommodation.

People do not always need a set number of hours of support each week, their needs may change from week to week.

The service will be commissioned to deliver 90 hours of support per week over 7 days a week.

The provider will apply a flexible approach to ensure each person receives a person centred approach and the right level of support they need.

A flexible model will allow people to access more / less one to one support as needed.

Care staff will be expected to support people in their own apartment and, when needed, provide support and encouragement in the community to develop skills, confidence, and connections.

Support may also be required to attend appointments.
