The brief

Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Office Services (as defined below) to: - Supplement capabilities of DVLA’s existing CPMO team Support the delivery of a series of technical projects in the user tooling area (particularly SharePoint, Jira & Confluence) and linking the scope of the wider Digital Service Platform and End User Computing workstreams Introduce new or improved ways of working aligned to best practice standards through their definition, and delivery via coaching, mentoring, training course development and accreditation Develop and enhance the maturity of in-house portfolio/programme/project management office services Support PPM tool selection, requirements verification, custom development to meet new DVLA needs, with supporting user and administrator training, and roll-out activities A configured service to support successful delivery of DVLA’s current change portfolio through provision of an integrated portfolio/programme/project management office framework of skills, processes, templates and tools.

MSP, PMP, P30, Prince2, Agile, Scrum) and the latest advances and industry ‘best practice’ to enable on-boarding and standards management of SME suppliers going forward A solution that enables achievement of business strategy and customer outcomes whilst appropriately mitigating time, cost, quality and risk in the delivery of projects. An innovative solution to the delivery of change using an Agile-based lifecycle approach and fit-for-purpose portfolio/programme/project management office services and tools An input into the wider development of the in-house skills, capabilities, procedures and ways of working that inform the ITD target operating model and wider organisational design activities being delivered via the ATOM programme To support the skills development of current resources through coaching and mentoring, training, knowledge transfer activities (as outlined in the agreed transition plan), and through supporting wider recruitment activities into digital roles such as scrum masters
