Primary Medical Services (Randolph Surgery), Central London
This sits in the upper-middle of the Health & Social Care band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Expressions of interest are invited for the provision of Primary Medical Services (PMS) from within the Randolph Practice, 235a Elgin Avenue, Maida Vale, London, W9 1NH.
NHS Central London CCG wishes to explore solutions for two, linked opportunities: - An interim contract for the provision of a 'caretaker' general practice service from 9th May 2019 until 31st March 2020; and - A subsequent substantive contract from 1st April 2010 for approximately a 5 year term.
Whilst NHS Central London CCG is undertaking a patient and public engagement, it has an urgency to understand what potential interest there might be from providers assessing their ability to offer a caretaker solution in the coming weeks.
The existing PMS practice has a registered raw patient list of 8444 and a weighted list size of 7972 as of 1st January 2019.
It is anticipated, that the existing premises will be made available for immediate use by a replacement provider organisation.
There is understood to be existing workforce with TUPE entitlement and transfer interest.
Funding for the interim contract is likely to involve the Londonwide Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) tariff plus an enhanced caretaker supplement and in total have a value circa£800 - £900k for the life of the interim contract.
Additional income from locally commissioned services may also be available to the provider.
To EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST, find out more and commence an engagement with the CCG, please RESPOND BY EMAIL to Zahra.parvar@nhs.net with the email subject heading "PMS Contract Opportunity Interest" by 12 noon, Monday 11th February 2019.

If a competition is to be used to award a contract for the interim caretaker service, this is likely to be run as an accelerated process.
Responses are not a prerequisite to bidding, should the CCG decide to run any competitive process, however the CCG reserves the right to interpret a lack of responses as reasonable evidence against the use of a competitive process.
