Futures Housing Group (FHG) seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and financially sound economic operator(s) to provide asbestos surveys, laboratory testing, reporting and recording to the value circa 850000GBP including extension periods.
The period of this contract will be for five years.
It will include an initial period of six months and a unilateral right to extend the contract for a period not exceeding two further years.
The works include the provision of surveys for the presence of asbestos within the property portfolio of Futures Homescape Ltd, and Rockingham Forest Housing Association , carry out laboratory testing, provide a method of reporting the surveys and a method of accessible recording/storing of the reports.
The scope is for circa 2500 property surveys over five years.
Surveys: - Management Survey in accordance with HSG264 - Refurbishment & Demolition Survey in accordance with HSG264 Reporting and recording: - Comprehensive reporting is required - Comprehensive monthly reporting is required on database access - Lab test findings, drawings, photographs and narrative - Reports should be accessible via a web based facility with free access to FHG contractors as well as FHG staff - FHG uses Keystone Asset Management reporting.
The provider must be able to provide data transfer from its recommended/offered system, into our Keystone system - The web based system should be expandable to include such compliance requirements as Fire Risk Assessment and Water Assessment data - A database update facility is required. - Reports will need to be updated from consignment notes emailed from our asbestos removers.
Bidders will be accredited to UKAS, ISO17025 for Sampling and ISO17020 for Surveying (or demonstrable equivalents from an EU Member State) The contract contains only one Lot. - Lot 1 Work within the Amber Valley area of Derbyshire and surrounds plus any requirement from RFHA
