The brief

Dstl requires data to produce Johnson-Cook models for 10 grades of aluminium.

These models will be used in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of the materials.

Dstl requires strain rates in the order of 10^2 s-1 to be used.

Strain rates of 10^3 s-1 are highly desirable.
