The brief

Working closely with its partners, GMCA wants to design and build an integrated technical education system for Greater Manchester that is sustainable, and that provides the best experience for all of its users, particularly young people.

The integrated technical education system will make it straightforward for young people (in the first instance) to access quality learning and training experiences to enable them to get good jobs in Greater Manchester.

A key element of building this system will include developing and working towards a blueprint that is owned by all system partners including young people, parents/carers, education institutions and employers. \r \r GMCA wants to procure a supplier to provide a thorough review of the current programme of work, with stakeholder analysis and breakdown of the further steps needed to successfully design and build a sustainable, integrated technical education system in Greater Manchester.

This will include an analysis of the barriers and risks with recommended mitigating actions, recommendations on proportionate programme management capabilities and arrangements, and actions to support GMCA to work with system partners at all levels to develop a realistic plan to manage its successful development and delivery to 2030. \r \r For more information please visit The Chest at https://www.the-chest.org.uk/
