GP Direct access to Endoscopy diagnostic services for Scarborough and Ryedale Clinical Commissioning Group (RFI)
NHS Scarborough and Ryedale CCG are seeking information from providers of Endoscopic diagnostic Services.
The proposed service will provide direct access for GP’s and will deliver a range of services in an outpatient/community based service for patients within Scarborough and Ryedale CCG boundary.
The proposed services will include provision for, but not limited to: • Colonoscopy • Sigmoidoscopy • Gastroscopy The overall aim of the proposed service is to improve the access and increase capacity for the benefit of our patient population.
The proposed service will achieve the following outcomes: • Provide optimum clinical support for primary care to enable joint coordination of care for the specified population by: Working collaboratively with primary care Access to diagnostic services in a timely manner • Ensure patients have access to the appropriate professional in the appropriate setting at the right time • To support seamless transition between services • To ensure proposed pathways are followed, within NICE recommendations, and variances reviewed and actioned
