Description The works shall include the demolition of the former Tooks bakery site concrete oversite tarmac, surface areas and adjacent fuel tank and interceptor structures. ii.

The Contractor shall note that the works shall include an element of Contractor's Design in relation to the following a.

Proposed methodology for the demolition works b.

Design of all temporary works required to complete the works Refer to Demolition Strategy document as part of this specification. c.

Work items included within this demolition works package iii.

Arranging and providing for builders temporary mains water and mains electricity supply. iv.

Provision of all site accommodation. v.

Removal from site of all rubbish and similar materials Tyres and plastic especially . vi.

Removal of all tarmac surfacing arising from site. vii.

Provide all access and builders attendance on Asbestos Surveyor for re-inspection of previously inaccessible locations and allow for all associated costs within this tender.

See separate Asbestos Survey Report. viii.

Provide as necessary, any specialist electrical etc. attendance to assist Asbestos Surveyor for re inspection of any electrical or similar equipment discovered following opening-up all costs associated with this are to be allowed for within this tender. ix.

Full asbestos environmental removal clean to all site areas. x.

Removal of asbestos materials discovered during the site demolition works, including cleaning of the contaminated soils to domestic usable standards. xi.

Demolition of main former tooks site concrete slabs, comprising ground bearing and potentially suspended slab structurers and fuel tank sub-structure.

Demolition shall include the building sub-structure completely, including removal of all building services assumed to have previously been isolated and disconnected, but need to be checked and associated hard-core installations xii.

Separation of any joint services with adjoining properties. xiii.

Contractor to note that located against the north boundary, a single storey enclosure containing electrical meter equipment is to be retained see item below. xiv.

Contractor to note that unobstructed access shall be required to residential properties located to the North and East boundaries of the site. xv.

Demolition of underground former Fuel Store tanks located near North boundary area including: xvi.

Safely drain down existing fuel tank residual fluids and disposal with waste site certifications. xvii.

Disconnection and removal of entire fuel tank and Removal of all contaminated soil. xviii.

Removal of all building services items associated with all previously removed buildings and the site. xix.

Removing internal walls foundations to all sub-structures, providing temporary support as required and infilling all removed sub structures voids with compacted layers of suitable non-contaminated soil materials. xx.

Breaking out any steps, ramps, raised planters and similar structures relating to the original site building
