The Council is seeking a delivery partner for the operation of Hereford City's dockless, app- based bike share scheme.
The contract will operate with a single supplier appointed to operate the bike share scheme in accordance with the Council's specification and contract.
The aim of the project is to ensure a well-designed, dockless bike share scheme continues to be available in Hereford, enabling residents and visitors to travel around the city by bicycle, including the 20 miles of cycle networks.
The Contract will commence on 1st April 2022 and will be for five years with an option to extend for two further periods of two years each (ie 5+2+2).
Subject to council approval, there may also be an option to extend the service through pilot schemes elsewhere in the county as well as utilising emerging modes of personal transport.
