The Youth Homelessness Service will provide support to vulnerable young people at risk between the ages of 16 and 24 years (including Parent/s & Child clients) within purpose built accommodation which provides short-term, safe, social and community living.
In addition there will be provision in the accommodation for an emergency 'crash pad' flat for up to 3 Clients at any one time for an agreed short term period.The Adults Homelessness Service will provide short stay accommodation to homeless persons over the age of 18.
This is to include space for 20 'Wayfarer' or SWEP (Severe Weather & Emergency Protocol) placements as referred by West Berkshire Council Housing Team.
Provision for rough sleepers to access washing facilities (shower) upon referrals by West Berkshire Council Housing Team.
It will also offer tenancy maintenance support to those in need, with ability to take referrals from within and external to the service.
