The brief

This 18-month pilot will be used to inform a long-term, strategic programme for the oral health of children with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The pilot will build on the existing capacity, infrastructure and skills of the wider Oral Health Promotion Team to support an impactful and cost-effective pilot.

This pilot will allow for Central London Community Trust to deliver this enhanced offer as part of the existing Oral Health Promotion Service.

The CLCH Oral Health Promotion team has a good knowledge of the local population and experience in working with local Early Years settings, schools, family Hubs, SEND settings, other stakeholders, and service users.

The service is part of the local Community Dental Services which provides all the required clinical oversight and support and delivers the National Dental Epidemiological Programme in the local schools.
