WATMOS Community Homes is tendering for the provision of cyclical painting and associated works at one of its Tenant Management Organisations (TMO) in Walsall, West Midlands.
This TMO site consists of 4 high rise blocks and the contract includes internal redecoration to communal areas (including bin stores) as well as the optional awards of floor painting of communal stairwells and external estate railings re-painting; all works will include suitable preparation of the surfaces and associated works.
WATMOS is looking for a suitably experienced, knowledgeable and capable contractor that can meet its timescales (work to be completed within 3 months) and that can deliver a high quality service whilst working within a live environment with residents requiring access at all times.
The contractor will be required to provide a customer focused service and show commitment to providing value for money and social value as well as demonstrating its collaborative working practices, innovation and continuous improvement.
WATMOS is a unique landlord owning just over 2700 homes for rent in Walsall, West Midlands and Lambeth in London.
There are also 300 leaseholder properties.
WATMOS is based around eleven TMOs that have successfully managed their own estates for many years, providing local housing services on behalf of WATMOS.
The TMOs are run by elected resident committees who employ their own staff providing housing services and looking after their estates.
