This project is for the refurbishment of an existing but now overgrown bike track, situated within War Memorial Park, Basingstoke.
The council is seeking a new contemporary pump track to be constructed in its place.
The park is situated close to Basingstoke Town Centre, and is a busy site with many existing users including skateboarders, inline skaters, scooters and BMX users.
The new pump track is intended to form part of a wider scheme of improvements in the immediate vicinity, including a concrete skate park and Parkour facility, which are being procured separately.
The Council invites you to respond creatively to the Design Brief against best practice.
