Work’s to comprise demolishing existing play equipment and safety surfaces.
Installation of new equipment (previously procured by BBC) and safety surfaces.
Creation of bunding.
Fencing and furniture removal and install in new locations.
Move a bandstand shelter within the playground.
The contractor will be required to liaise with the Design & Build contractor Touchwood (previously procured) who will share the site.
All works to be done under relevant BS standards and play equipment install will be inspected prior to completion.
Works will commence after summer holidays and the playground must open before autumn half term holiday.
The playground refurbishment is made possible by a grant from NHS Public Health to promote activity levels of residents in Boscombe and surroundings.
The contractor must be on site by the 12th September 2016.
