The brief

London Luton Airport is looking for bidders forSpecialist contractors suppliers to tender for the design, construction, installation, full integration, testing, proofing and commissioning of compliance upgrades to the Passenger Search Area, to comply with the DFT and CAA requirements for the implementation of C3 technology for cabin baggage screening and use of 100 percent body scanning for passengers by June 2024.

The works include the supply installation of C3 and body scanning equipment, installation , modifications to tray return systems, construction of a remote screening room and ancillary works.

Prospective contractors suppliers must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing turnkey projects of a similar size, nature and complexity within European and or International passenger airports.

Evidence of the applicant’s capabilities and previous experience with undertaking projects of this nature, will need to be adequately demonstrated within their tender.
