MEE/DC/Worcs Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGEM CSU) on behalf of NHS South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (SWCCG), NHS Redditch & Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioning Group (RBCCG) and NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (WFCCG) would like to invite providers to attend a ‘Market Engagement Event’ which will inform the market of Worcestershire CCGs intentions to procure Domiciliary Care CHC Services for the county of Worcestershire.
Expressions of interest are sought from providers including: • Spot Purchase contract holders seeking to become Approved providers • New providers wishing to provide CHC domiciliary care services.
The purpose of domiciliary care is to enable service users to remain in their own homes, living as independently as possible.
Service users will principally be adults aged 18 years or over with additional health needs arising from frailty, illness, accident or disability.
These people, without support, would have difficulty in maintaining a reasonable standard of life in the community.
The service may also be provided to give relief to an informal carer.
It is intended that a procurement process will commence in December 2015 with a view for the service to commence on the 1st April 2016.
The event will take place on the morning of Thursday 19th November 2015 in Worcester.
The market event will provide; • an overview of the service to be provided • outline the capacity issues and highlight the gaps in specific locations • provide details of the contract type, length and particular conditions • explain the procurement process and the anticipated timeline Places are strictly limited therefore reservations are limited to no more than one (1) person per organisation.
