NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGEM CSU) on behalf of NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) would like to invite providers to attend a ‘Market Testing and Engagement Event’.
The CCG is looking to test the potential provider market for phlebotomy services and to engage with prospective providers.
The event will include an opportunity for prospective providers to provide feedback to the CCG in relation to the content of the draft service specifications for phlebotomy services.
The specifications (which are subject to change) are for: The provision of a community based phlebotomy service for adult patients aged 16 and over who are registered to a GP within NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (Adult specification); The provision of a domiciliary phlebotomy service to housebound patients in this age group (Adult specification); The provision of a community based phlebotomy service for children aged 3 to 15 years who are registered to a GP within NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (Paediatric specification).
These services intend to ensure that demand for phlebotomy provision in south Warwickshire is met close to home and at convenient and accessible times/locations for patients.
The Event will provide: An overview of the services to be provided; An overview of the procurement processes and the anticipated timelines; A masterclass – hints and tips in submitting an response.
Following the event, attendees will be invited to confirm their interest in bidding for these services.
Attendees will also be offered the opportunity to provide any further feedback relating to the draft service specifications in writing (a proforma will be shared for completion).
The Market Engagement & Testing Event will take place on Thursday 26th November 2015 in Warwick town centre.
