Medisight Ophthalmology system contract modification/variation to align two merged Acute Trusts

This Modification Notice is being published in accordance with Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (“PCR 2015”).<br/>The original call off contract was awarded under a framework agreement established in accordance with PCR 2015. The award was not published on the Find a Tender Service (FTS) because, at the time of award, PCR 2015 did not require publication of call off awards on FTS, and publication was instead made on Contracts Finder.<br/>As no prior FTS notice exists for this contract, this Modification Notice is being published as a standalone notice. The Find a Tender Service will therefore generate a new OCID for this notice in accordance with the FTS notice creation process, which permits publication of notices not linked to any existing notice.<br/>This modification meets the conditions of Regulation 72(1)([INSERT: b or c or e or f]) PCR 2015.<br/>The value of the modification does not exceed 50% of the original contract value (where applicable under Reg. 72(1)(b) or (c)).<br/>No new contract is being created as a result of this modification; rather, the existing contract is being varied in accordance with the permitted modification grounds under Regulation 72.<br/>This notice is published to fulfil the transparency obligation applicable to modifications relying on Regulation 72(1)(b) or 72(1)(c) PCR 2015 and to ensure the contract change is advertised in line with the statutory requirements.**
