MEH Project Oriel Accessibility Lead
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Health & Social Care band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH) has a vision is to create an environment for innovation to flourish, inspiring improvements in people's sight.
The proposal is to create a new, purpose-built centre of excellence for eye care, research and education.
Should the proposal be approved in 2022, the Authority will relocate all services from Moorfields Eye Hospital on City Road and the IoO on Bath Street, to this new, integrated centre at St Pancras in London.
The proposed new facility will be flexible and modern, enabling the Authority to bring together eye care, research and education for the first time, while focusing on patients and attracting and retaining the best ophthalmic scientists, educators and clinicians.
There has been an extensive period of consultation and a need has been identified to develop the communications and engagement activity to support the programme as it approaches significant milestones, in particular the submission to town planners.
The Authority has now appointed an Accessibility Lead to advise on and deliver best-practice targeted, in-person engagement with patient groups and partners.
The Authority expects that this will be in the form of workshops and/or forums.
