The brief

The rehabilitation service is a Supported Living setting (with communal facilities), with a person-centred recovery focused approach to housing and support services for adults with mental health and other complex issues requiring high level support.

The service is designed to actively support rehabilitation and move on into longer term accommodation to live more independently.

Our aim is for service users to move on to independent living, and for those who won’t be able to live independently a more permanent solution will be identified.

It is based on Service Users having a license agreement offering the right to remain in their own home and change their support provider if they wish.

It can mean living in shared accommodation or living alone with support.

Blackpool Council is seeking an experienced Provider to deliver a rehabilitation service in Blackpool; a supported living setting with communal facilities, accommodating up to 5 people with mental health support needs and other complex issues.

The Provider will be responsible for supporting individuals through a rehabilitation model of support, with the aim of them moving on to long term living arrangements.

The Provider will have demonstrable experience and expertise in delivering person centred support to Service users with a wide range of Mental Health needs and other complex issues.

This will include experience of delivery of similar schemes with a focus on Mental Health rehabilitation and supporting Service Users to safely and sustainably move on to longer term situations.
