The brief

This contract is for the provider to develop a suite of training within the given financial envelope that provides Mental Health First Aid & Mental Health Awareness training to line managers, HR and occupational health leads working within SME & VCSE organisations across Norfolk to support the mental wellbeing of the workforce.

The training will equip learners with: o An understanding of mental health. o A basic knowledge of common mental health issues. o The ability to spot signs of mental ill health. o An introduction to looking after their own mental health and maintaining wellbeing. o Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue by being able to listen & communicate non-judgementally. o The skills to support mental health in the workplace, to reduce the stigma. o An awareness of appropriate support services that they can signpost and encourage people to access. o The skills and knowledge to support building a mentally healthy workplace for everyone.
