The Minor Injury Unit (MIU) will work to the following key elements: • Open a minimum of 8 hours a day (Saturday and Sunday weekly) • Paramedic-led. • Provision of simple treatments (details outlined below). • Directly bookable appointments via NHS 111 and GPs (as well as walk-in provision)
