The Authority is seeking reputable contractors to be included on a Framework of Contractors from who project tenders can be obtained on a mini-competition basis.
The project works will be across the range of the Authority’s properties and will be of removal, alterations and refurbishment nature including the following: • Building works - internal elements in the majority, but also some externally. • Mechanical works - to water, heating and ventilation services (use of subcontractors from other Authority framework lists) • Electrical works to containment, power, lighting and fire-alarm systems(use of subcontractors from other Authority framework lists) • Co-ordination of Authority works and Contractors.
The projects will be in the value range of £10,000 to £150,000 (excluding VAT), with the anticipated expenditure of approximately £400,000 per annum - but this is issued for information only and is not a guarantee of the actual spend.
This framework is intended for an initial period of approximately 2 years – to 31-Mar-17, subject to possible further yearly extensions up to a maximum of 4 years – to 31-Mar-18 and -19 respectively.
