The brief

The CL4 facility is one of the most critical areas on site and the HSE carry out audit’s on a regular basis.

It is their recommendation that we ensure that the ETP’s and inner corridors have gas tight dampers so fumigation can take place in case of a spill.

Secondly suite 2 had work done to improve control on pressures and air supply and it is now intended to upgrade Suite 1 to the same level which was also endorsed by the HSE.

Project Objectives To purchase and install the correct fumigation dampers within the ETP’s and inner corridor.

Operation and the function of the dampers to be integrated into the current fumigation system.

This would include specific 13amp sockets etc. and meet the same standard across site.

To modify existing duct work, purchase and install suitable manual CV boxes and upgrade/replace motorised dampers with 110v actuators.

The operation of the dampers to be integrated into our current BMS system and to operate and control as per suite 2.

All new components fitted must be the same make, type and specification as per suite 2.

Commission the pressure system to NIBSC specifications and supply all necessary certification, O&M manuals and up to date drawings.
