The brief

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for and on behalf of NHS Tees Valley Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG), Hartlepool Borough Council, Darlington Borough Council, Middlesbrough Council, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and Stockton on Tees Borough Council (the 5 Tees Valley Local Authorities) who are conducting a Request For Information (RFI) exercise to engage with the market and obtain input on the draft service model in respect of NECS388 Family Support Service for Children and Young People with a Neurodevelopmental Need.

The Contracting Authorities are interested to hear from providers who could deliver a Family Support Service for Children and Young People with a Neurodevelopmental Need in either all or part of the Tees Valley geographical area.

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is utilising an electronic tendering tool (In-Tend) (e-Tendering system) to manage this market engagement exercise and communicate with potential bidders in accordance with Regulation 22 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015(as amended) It is free to register on In-Tend, which can be accessed at any time of day providing you have a working internet connection.

Please note that the deadline for RFI responses is 12 noon on Friday 12 March 2021.

A market engagement event is also being held which will take the form of individual 1-1 type appointments only on a 30 minute basis to allow interested parties the time to share and discuss their views on the model and has been arranged as follows: Monday 15th March 2021 and Tuesday 16th March 2021 (Attendance for either the 15th March or 16th March) Opportunity for individual 1-1 appointments with the Commissioners from: 09.30am-1:00pm and 2.00pm--5.00pm These will be held online via MS Teams Please note based on the timings - 30minute slots will be strictly managed Please register your interest in attending the market engagement event by sending a message on the Intend portal.

Please note that all communications and RFI submissions will be conducted via the Intend portal only.

Please note that this exercise is not part of any pre-qualification process.

It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for provider organisations to help inform potential future service models and/or commissioning intentions.

Please note that the RFI documents can be accessed via the Intend portal from Tuesday 02 March 2021.
