New Build Scheme - Green Hill Way and Cambridge Drive

We haven’t measured a rhythm for Solihull Community Housing in Construction yet — so we’re not going to guess at one.

Description of Works: Solihull Community Housing (SCH) is looking to appoint a suitable contractor to carry out the construction of a total of 14 two storey 2 and 3 bedroom dwellings across two locations within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull.

The project includes both sites.

Sites: 1) Green Hill Way, Shirley, Solihull B90 3PW 5 two-storey units 2) Cambridge Drive, Birmingham B37 5NT 9 two-storey units It is anticipated that the Contract shall commence between January 2017 - May 2017.

Please see attached the proposed plans for each site.

SCH expects to appoint one contractor to deliver works for this project.

Approximate Timescales: Tenders Issued 28 September 2017 Tender Query Deadline 20 October 2017 Tender Submission Deadline 1 November 2017 Tender Evaluation 1 - 22 November 2017 Award Decision No later than April 2018 Contract Commencement No later than May 2018 The proposed term of this Contract is for a period of 2 years.

Tender Process: Tender documents are expected to be posted in the week commencing 25 September 2017.

The successful contractor is to be selected through a formal open tender process.

The tender process will be managed through an electronic tendering portal at www.csw-jets.co.uk.

In order to view the project details and tender documents and be considered for the award of this contract, contractors must register on this above portal.

Contractors will only be considered for the award of this contract if they can demonstrate experience of delivering construction works for a similar client to Solihull Community Housing and meet any minimum requirements detailed within the tender documents.
