North Northamptonshire Council - Residential and Nursing Care Homes Services Reopening (DPS)
North Northamptonshire Council would like to inform potential providers of the upcoming reopening of the Residential and Nursing Care Homes Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
Tender Reopening Date: Week commencing Monday 1st July 2024.
The Service will be required to provide regulated accommodation, care, support and meaningful activity to those people for whom it is not appropriate, either in the short or longer term, to live in their own homes.
The Service will be delivered in a way that ensure Individuals are at the heart of service delivery by maximising their ability and opportunity to live as independently as possible through the provision of good quality care and compliance with regulatory care standards.
Providers are required to work collaboratively and actively engage with all stakeholders including health and social care partners, and the North Northamptonshire care home sector to ensure a commitment to good quality service provision, continuous improvement, and market development.
Providers will ensure that the care and support that is provided for Individuals supports the principles outlined in the Care Act 2014, namely: • To promote individual wellbeing • To prevent the need for care and support • To promote the integration of care and support with health services • To provide information and advice • To promote diversity and quality in provision of services • To co-operate with partners • To engage with Safeguarding Enquiries.
