The brief

Conduct a detailed mapping of the creative industries in the North of Tyne Combined Authority area with a view to providing an accurate profile of the sector focusing particularly on scale and composition (including business numbers, size, type, sub-sector, GVA, growth profile, skill levels, diversity, geographic location and location of principal client base).

A geographic map of the sector should be provided as part of the report.

Please note, all data should be provided so it can be disaggregated into specific geographic areas i.e.

Newcastle, Northumberland, and North Tyneside.

Identify opportunities, challenges and issues faced by: large-scale businesses, SMEs; and freelancers.

The sample should be statistically meaningful and representative both by sector shape and geography.
