Wakefield Council is seeking to award a single source contract for the provision of Occupational Physician services, which will be required for a minimum of 15 hours per calendar month, provided as two 7½ sessions.
In addition, access to a second Occupational Physician is required, to provide independent assessment on employees in regards to ill health retirement for the pension fund.
The Council is looking to award a contract to a single operator for an initial period of one year, with an option to extend by a further two, one year terms, dependent upon the outcome of reviews coordinated by Wakefield Council.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1st November 2021.
The estimated contract value is £97,000.
