The current contract for a single service provider of Occupational Health Services (OHS) for De Montfort University (DMU) staff is ending on 6th August 2022 and a new single service provider is being sought.
Good Occupational Health (OH) is essential for the health, safety and wellbeing of DMU's staff to support the prevention and management of work-related health problems and the assessment of functional capacity to work.
By having a specialist OHS, DMU can help ensure staff are not harmed by hazardous activities at work; promote psychological health and wellbeing; effectively manage attendance and rehabilitation back to work of staff after serious illness or disability; and provide competent expert advice and clinical services necessary to meet the university's statutory obligations under health and safety legislation.
