CAT-20-009 Fresh Muffins, Cookies and Associated Items
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
The Education Authority (hereafter referred to as EA) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of fresh muffins, cookies and associated items to school meals kitchens, outdoor education centres and Headquarter canteens within Northern Ireland during the 1 August 2021 to 31 July 2022.
In the event that there is a delay in the establishment of any succeeding contract, the Authority may, by giving notice in writing to the Contractor, extend this Framework Agreement on a month by month basis up to a maximum of a further three months from the expiry of the Extension Period.
It should be noted that other locations, including schools and youth centres may also use this framework.
Please note that the outdoor education centres and youth centres may require delivery during periods when schools and school meals kitchens are closed, for example during the summer holiday period.
Suppliers that have recent experience in the supply of fresh muffins, cookies and associated items on a regular basis are invited to tender for the opportunity to supply these products.

What this notice demands of you
1 named, none in explicit obligation language. Each one is quoted from the notice.
In the event that there is a delay in the establishment of any succeeding contract, the Authority may, by giving notice in writing to the Contractor, extend this Framework Agreement on a month by month basis up to a maximum of a further three months from the expiry of the Extension Period.
Matched against the notice text, so this is a floor — the tender pack will demand things the notice never mentions. “Says must” means the quoted sentence itself used obligation language; anything ambiguous is left as a mention.
