The City of Wolverhampton Council has sought to contract with a provider for the provision of detached youth work services for 8–18 year old’s, and up to 25 years old for SEND young people.
The aim is to lead work across the City to develop and embed a ’culture of belonging’ where all children and young people feel part of their school and local community.
Part of this is ensuring that youth provision is accessible and flexible, offered at times and in locations when and where young people need services most.
Success will be measured not only by the number of young people participating in the offer overall, but also those young people who are most vulnerable being engaged in opportunities which are of interest and value to them.
