Collection of Seabird Flight Height Data at an Operational Windfarm using Aircraft Mounted Lidar
This project will use aircraft mounted LiDAR technology, to collect measurements of seabird flight heights for individual species to allow production of flight height distributions for use in CRM, and the comparison of flight heights with e.g. distance from a wind farm and individual wind turbine generators.
