The brief

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) has awarded a contract to a consultancy to provide two (2) key personnel to work with its in-house team to deliver cost consultancy and quantity surveyor services across a range of projects in respect of RBKC's property portfolio.

The key personnel supplied by the consultancy from time to time are expected to work forty-eight (48) weeks of the year (excluding bank holidays) during the contract term.

Bidders should note that there is a high demand for the services and therefore such key personnel will be expected to work outside normal working hours.

A typical day is likely to be in the region of ten (10) hours.

The contract term will be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option to extend on two (2) occasions, each for a duration of one (1) year, resulting in a maximum four (4) year contract.

The contract value has been calculated over a four (4) year period.
