The brief

The Provider will be required to lead and coordinate the integrated delivery of the children's public health service in the Wakefield area in partnership with other agencies.

This should build on the programme of integration across the children's system to achieve better outcomes for children and families as described in Wakefield Council's strategic ambition as follows: 'Our vision is for children and young people to tell us they are happy, healthy and safe, thriving in communities where families and services work together to help them to achieve their potential and dreams' The contract will reflect that vision with the requirement to deliver locality based integrated services for children aged 0-19 years ( 25 years SEND).

The successful Provider must be committed to making this vision a reality for local parents to be, babies, children, young peoples, parents and carers.
