The brief

The Authority has an operational requirement to provide temporary accommodation and essential veterinary care for dogs seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act (1991) and in respect of animal welfare offences.

As a result of a recent tender where by one successful supplier has been awarded The Authority is seeking to appoint a number of kennels for the remaining kennelling capacity for the Provision of Kennelling and Veterinary treatment of Seized Dogs The Contract shall run co terminus to an existing contract and will be for an initial period of 18 months with a commencement date of 1st July 2022 to the 31st December 2023, with the option to extend for up to a further period of 36 months subject to satisfactory performance.
