To support the work of the Environment Agency’s internal HSW service (and services we utilise through other existing contracts, for example occupational hygiene, occupational health), we want to create a framework with small number of providers of HSW specialist services to provide additional capacity, resource and competent advice.
Examples of services are: • Evaluating HSW of submissions during procurements • Providing lead reviewer for internal accident investigations (in line with HSG245) • Provision of training and workshops where need is short-term/limited-run, requires specialist HSW knowledge or accreditation (e.g.
NEBOSH or IOSH).
Including design and deliver, delivering EA content including joint delivery with colleagues from EA) • Risk assessments, audits and inspections (e.g.
COVID risk assessments of EA workplaces, woodworking and engineering workshops, internally and externally delivered construction projects/sites, construction design audits) • Internal guidance creating, review and advice • Benchmarking / peer review with comparable/safety mature organisations Please note value figure below will also be confirmed
