The provision of Information and Advice can help to avoid the need for care and support developing and is a key pillar in delivering the Oxfordshire Way.
We want people in Oxfordshire to know where they can access the right information and advice to help them make good choices about the help they or their family might need.
Through using a strengths-based way of working more people will be enabled to live at home independently and confidently for longer.
This will reduce or delay the need for more intensive health and social care services.
The Services will focus on creating a self-developing culture of information and advice and developing communities of practice to strengthen Oxfordshire resident's health and wellbeing.
Oxfordshire would like to improve joint working with the Council, Health, and the Community and Voluntary Sector to strengthen the prevention agenda and build greater resilience in our communities.
