Arboricultural Services Framework
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
Oxford Direct Services (ODS) Arboricultural services are comprised of a range of planned works according to a review and maintenance schedule at particular times of year, and also a range of unplanned work required on an ad-hoc basis in response to service requests and natural events.
Arboricultural Services in Oxford City and surrounding areas are a year-round requirement.
The business need for this framework contract is centred around ODS’s statutory responsibilities to maintain the tree stock that it is responsible for.
Trees must be maintained in a safe manner to ensure users of the Public Highway, Council owned properties and Council maintained land are as safe as is reasonably practicable. To enable resulting tree works to be delivered, ODS wishes to utilise competent contractors/persons due to the high risks associated with arboricultural works.
In light of this, ODS has a requirement for a framework agreement to provide high quality specialist Arboricultural Services.
