The brief

Derry City and Strabane District Council invites applications from suitably experienced and qualified providers for the provision of an Employee Health Care Cash Plan and Employee Assistance Programme services across the City and District.

Derry City and Strabane District Council currently employs approximately 1000 staff including members of staff living in cross border areas.

The Provider (Tenderer) will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of service and working with Derry City and Strabane District Council to implement the contract to allow for a seamless transition of service.

This contract is being let as two Lots.

Tenderer may apply for any and all Lots.

Lot 1 Provide an Employee Health Care Cash Plan, to include optician, dental, Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computerised tomography (CT) scanning and Positron emission tomography (PET) scanning etc.

Lot 2 Employee Assistance Programme Services to provide staff with free access, 24/7, 365 days per year, to confidential advice on the phone and on-line.

To provide staff support where required through face to face counselling.
