The brief

Central government is investing £300 million over the next 3 years to support every single Council across England and Wales in catching and preventing youth offending earlier than ever, with a view to helping to stop Children and teenagers from moving on to further, more serious offending.

These services will be based on a model of intensive support options in the form of positive activity, education, and mentorship.

The Service(s) are to be delivered through a whole Family approach, will enable Children and their Families to "own their own road to change" through the development of resilience which is empowered by networks of support within the Family, education, and the Community.

Eligible Children (and their Families) will join a time limited programme of 12 weeks which will be determined by the needs of the child.
