Introduction On Wednesday 4th October, The Crown Prosecution Service is launching a tender opportunity for a contract to provide a Multimedia Transfer and Storage system for the Crown Prosecution Service.

The tender will run until closing on 3rd November 2023.

It is proposed that the winning bidder implement the chosen solution in time to commence a period of ‘dual running’ with the incumbent supplier’s solution from 1st April 2024 for a period of 4 months until 30th July 2024.

During this transition stage, the supplier will be expected to implement their system, work with the incumbent supplier to facilitate a smooth transition of service and to enable a seamless transfer of live case data from the current system into the new solution.

The contract is proposed to be for a 3-year period, with 2 further options to extend, each by a period of 12-months, making 5 years in total.

The CPS reserve the right to change the contract length before final contract signing with the winning bidder.

This Contract will be between the successful Supplier and the Authority.

The Contract is for the provision of a Multimedia Transfer and storage system PR 2023 004 is for being conducted under the CCS Mid-Tier Contract terms which will govern any resultant Contract.

The Authority is managing this Procurement in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The Authority is using an e-Sourcing Suite (Bravo) to manage this Procurement and all communication to prospective bidders will be via this portal.

There will be no acceptations to this, unless there are unforeseen technical difficulties, when further instructions will be issued.
