This is a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice.

This notice is to indicate that The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority formed on the 7th May 2024 acting on behalf of itself and the Chief Constable of North Yorkshire Police proposes to contract with North Yorkshire Council by virtue of fully owned teckal company called Nynet Limited (company number 06069791) for the provision of their Wide Area Network Since the formation in 2019 of enableNY (North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service) many areas of the Estates are shared by both organisations, the vision is to have a collaborative arrangement which will deliver opportunities to reduce costs for multi occupancy buildings.

Nynet provide broadband to businesses, communities and the public throughout North Yorkshire, all surpluses are re-invested to provide reliable networks across North Yorkshire.
