The Client has had an active leakage control policy for many years.
It has in place a leakage business plan to take forward leakage activities.
The level of leakage has been reduced from 291 Ml/d at March 2002 to 153.5 Ml/d at September 2024.
As per the Utility Regulator’s Price Control 2021 “PC21” determination for the period from April 2021 to March 2027 it is proposed to reduce the level of leakage to 150 Ml/d.
Through this Contract the Client intends to supplement the existing in-house resources and the primary leakage support contract (C1175) for the detection of unreported leaks in the water distribution network.
