To allow the SDA to enrol a maximum of 30 students per year (three cohorts) against the ST0289 Nuclear Scientist and Nuclear Engineer (integrated degree), as recognised by the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfATE) This also includes the application of an End-Point Assessment Plan (EPA).
The Occupational Skills Training (OST) will also be integrated into the course content as a higher education addition.
Apprentice costs will be covered by the Government Apprentice Levy, and the Authority will only make payment against the Occupational Skills Training.
