The brief

The Forestry Commission has awarded a framework agreement for Oak Processionary Moth Control Services.

We have awarded a framework agreement primarily for chemical spraying and manual nest removal services to control the invasive Oak Processionary Moth (OPM).

The framework agreement includes emergency response to new outbreaks of tree pests.

These require competent and appropriately trained and certified operators for commercial chemical application and supply of all necessary equipment.

The framework agreement has 18 Lots organised by geographical area and category of work.

A maximum of 5 suppliers have been awarded to each Lot.
