HealthTrust Europe LLP ('HTE') is acting as provider of procurement services on behalf of the below Trusts (‘Participating Authority’) and is seeking tender to establish a Managed Service Contract for POC Glucose and Ketone Testing Solution that will include the provision of connected and non-connected meters, test strips and associated connectivity for Blood Glucose and Ketones Testing in a Point-of-Care environment.

It is expected that this managed service would include the installation and maintenance of a POC Glucose and Ketone Testing Solution to enable the electronic reporting and monitoring of results, accredited training, support to meet ISO requirements, all associated consumables and the maintenance and repair of equipment.

By providing the POC Glucose and Ketone Testing Solution, the Participating Authorities are looking to achieve improved analytical performance, ease of use, and an accreditation-compliant service while minimising costs.

This procurement is aimed to appoint a sole provider to deliver the Service for the following Trusts: • University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust • South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust • George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust • Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust • Wye Valley NHS Trust The duration of the Contract will be 5 years (the “Initial Term”) with the option for the Trust to extend the term for a further 2 years (the “Extension Period”).
