The brief

Pre-Market Engagement Questionnaire for: The replacement of Fire Detection / Alarm Systems, conducted under the University's Asset Replacement Programme) The university of Nottingham is looking to create an approved Database (ASD), a list of pre-approved suppliers capable of replacing old UoN fire alarms systems.

The UoN would like to appoint a number of suppliers (Approx 3 companies) for a series of projects to be completed as part of the university's asset replacement programme (Replacing existing fire alarms within university buildings over a number of years).

This pre-market questionnaire will be issued to potential bidders for the upcoming ASD tender.

Successful suppliers will be invited to tender for a place on the approved supplier list.

To confirm, business is not guaranteed should you secure a place on the approved supplier list - The University may direct award business or invite approved suppliers to a further competition for a specific project / works.

The university has a budget to replace old, existing fire alarms which must be completed before the end of the university financial year (31st July 2025).

The university would like to replace fire alarms on the below buildings under the 2024/2025 Asset Replacement Programme: Derby Hall - Main Building (University Park) Redcourt cottage 1 (University Park) Redcourt cottage 2 (University Park) Redcourt flat 1 (University Park) Redcourt flat 2 (University Park) Redcourt flat 3 (University Park) Redcourt Wardens House (University Park) South Laboratory (Sutton Bonnington)
